The Rising Sun bistro has a range of pub favourites from traditional burgers and steaks sandwiches to parmigiana, and the famous ‘Riser’ chicken sandwich on a brioche bun with caramelized onions. Our international chefs provide freshly cooked curries of the day, authentic Indonesian Nasi Goreng and beautiful Thai dishes.
Fresh pasta dishes include fettuccine Marinara with king prawns, calamari and whiting, Chicken and mushroom risotto, and our classic Carbonara. And don’t miss out on our succulent twice cooked Pork belly, or the hearty Mixed grill.
We also cater for kids, with a range of well-priced smaller meals with the option of traditional ice cream Sundaes.
Wine
Our wine list offers wines by the glass as well a large range of local award winning wines. As long time supporters of the Central Victorian Winegrowers Association, we are proud to offer wines from the region including Balgownie, Blackjack, Burnt Acre, Connor park, Mandurang Valley, Passing Clouds, Rivergate, Sandhurst Ridge and Waterwheel wineries.
